Mizan is owner, operator and stylist @ Knotty Roots Natural Hair Care Studio, she is fondly known in the industry as “The Loc Whisper”. Mizan is a master loctician, natural hair care specialist and a professional make-up artist. With over 25 years of experience in the industry her focus has always been on the health, integrity, education and the esthetics of natural hair.

Knotty Roots offer solutions for the so called "product junkie" Our staff analyze the density and porosity of our client's hair and offer in home product advise. We also use custom products geared toward our clients individual needs.
